    CBCRA’s Recycle Everywhere program is funded through the Container Recycling Fee that is charged to producers who sell their products to Manitobans. As a result, our goal is to reward residents of Manitoba for recycling their empty beverage containers.

    You’ve already taken the first step by downloading the Recycle Everywhere App. To enter the contest follow the tutorial in the app. Steps include scanning any recycling bin at home or away from home, next scan the barcode of the beverage container, and drop it the bin. That’s all, we do the rest!

    Any non-alcoholic, non-dairy, sealed beverage products purchased in Manitoba qualifies as an eligible container. Eligible sealed beverage products include plastic or glass bottles, aluminum cans, drink boxes and gable top cartons. Think pop bottles, juice boxes, or vitamin drinks!

    An ineligible product are items other than an empty beverage container. To enter the contest, you must scan the barcode of an eligible empty beverage product. If the item shows up as ineligible, it may still be accepted in your recycling bin. Please check before you throw it out.

    Heck no, don’t despair, the item may still be accepted for recycling. Most items will include a ‘mobius loop’ on the product. Containers labeled #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and #7 are accepted in Manitoba recycling bins. To be sure, please refer to your local municipality to check whether the item is accepted in your recycling program.

    We’d love to send you a Congratulations message by email from Recycle Everywhere! Winners will be notified within three days following the draw and will have up to five days to acknowledge the message. You will be required to answer a skill testing question before we release the prize to you.

    You must be 18 or older in Manitoba to claim a prize, but the good news is our app is available for the whole family to participate. Have your parent or guardian download the app and work together to recycle, when we all work together it’s a win-win.

    In the app settings under ‘My Account’ you will see an option to edit your email address, password or an option to add your cell phone number. Follow the prompts provided by the app to change your email address.
