Through the Container Recycling Fee (CRF), industry producers fund the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association (CBCRA) to recover their materials in all channels, including both the residential and away-from-home sectors. Who Pay For It?

Recycle Everywhere receives funding from the Container Recycling Fee (CRF). The CRF is a low cost fee ranging from 1 to 3 cents charged on every sealed beverage container brought into Manitoba.

The CRF funds the Recycle Everywhere program – including infrastructure, signage, technical support and promotion and education. In addition, the funds pay for up to 80% of the cost to collect and process beverage containers in residential recycling programs.
